Responsibilities
1-Program management:
- Develop and implement training content for teachers (Education and SEL)
- Deliver the trainings to the teachers in the schools targeted by the action in TGH areas of interventions
- Evaluate the needs for trainings among the teachers of targeted schools
- In coordination with Protection and Education officer, create TGH standard ToT for EiE / ALP / life skills as well as standard ToT for CP / PSS / RE, including creation of tools, handouts and power point presentations and preparation of list of needed material for each training
- Collect and revise existing training materials for Training of Teachers (ToT) on Education in Emergency (EiE), Active Learning Program (ALP), Self-Emotional Learning (SEL) and Risk Education (RE) from MoE, TGH previous experience in Syria, TGH experience in other countries and other humanitarian partners
- Ensure monitoring of teachers practical methods including reporting feedbacks
- Collection and analysis of data related to the impact of the trainings delivered, including measuring indicators and accountability to beneficiaries
- Contribute to Activity planning, monitoring and reporting in timely manner
- Evaluate teachers of training activities, promote and share ideas for improvement and necessary changes in the activities
- Define an action plan to achieve agreed objectives as per agreed work plan, in collaboration with Project managers and Program Coordinator
- Develop, invent and identify new methods and activities that ensure community received correct education services
- Play an active role in training teams as required.

2-Management of the logistical aspects of the project:
- Follow up the procurements related to project activity, prepare purchase requests, and anticipate the purchases in coordination with program and logistic team.
- Follow up requests and deliveries of materials, tools and equipment required for ToT activities.
- Identify suppliers in the field and collect prices.

3-Reporting:
- Report on the project activities and contribute to the data activity analysis in coordination with MEAL.
- Ensure timely submission of follow up reports to the concerned person and ensure the accuracy and the timeliness of the reporting.
- Participate to the reporting of project activities (to donors, local authorities & partners).



Qualifications
Qualification and experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in Training/Education sector in NGO.
- Strong knowledge in INEE standards and teachers capacity building.
- Good experience of education and protection protocols in emergency situations.
- Bachelor Degree.
- Ability to follow up on a range of tasks.
- Good level in written and spoken English.
- Good computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power-point.

About us

Established in 1994 TGH is an International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO) designing and implementing emergency, rehabilitation and development programs. Its action includes several areas of expertise within a comprehensive approach: the programs fall within the fields of Education; Water Hygiene & Sanitation; Food Security, Livelihood & Rural Development. In 2018, TGH operates in 10 countries and manages 70 programs.

TGH has been registered in Syria in May 2017 and works under the coordination of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC). Both Organisations have agreed to cooperate in order to enhance their common objective of offering humanitarian aid to the Syrian affected people that need help wherever it is possible in the country. The main TGH sectors of activities in Syria are WASH and Education.

A preliminary assessment in the WASH sector has been carried-out by TGH from 18th July to 27th July 2017 under the coordination and with the support of SARC. Another one has been conducted by TGH team and SARC in Hama in October 2018.

Since then, TGH signed 2 WASH projects in Hama under SHF and Rural Damascus under CDCS, and is planning to submit project proposal to various donors in 2019.
