Responsibilities
Main responsibilities:
•Train New Skaters: Provide hands-on instruction to beginner skateboarders, teaching fundamental techniques, safety practices, and proper use of equipment.
•Supervise Skate Sessions: Oversee skate sessions to ensure safety protocols are followed, offering guidance and assistance as needed.
•Promote Safety: Educate participants on the importance of wearing protective gear and adhering to safe skateboarding practices.
•Encourage Community Engagement: Cultivate a sense of community by interacting with skaters, parents, and visitors, fostering an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere.
•Facilitate MHPSS Activities: Plan and lead activities that promote mental health and psychosocial well-being, creating a supportive and welcoming environment for participants.
•Plan Recreational Activities: Organize engaging recreational events such as games, contests, and community gatherings to encourage participation and build camaraderie.
•Collect Data: Assist in gathering data related to participant engagement, feedback, and program outcomes to support continuous improvement.
•Maintain Equipment: Support the upkeep of skate park facilities and equipment, reporting any maintenance requirements promptly.


Child Safeguarding (CS)
•Child protection is everyone's responsibility
•Responsible within own area of work to prevent and protect children of all forms of abuse, abandonment, exploitation, violence and discrimination based on SOS Child Protection Policy principles
•Responsible for reporting any CS suspicion, concern, allegation or incident immediately following Child Safeguarding reporting procedures. CS reports should be made to the national CS focal person or any other member of the national CS team and/or to the respective line manager



Qualifications
-High school certificate/undergraduate student.
-Minimum 1year experience in humanitarian filed or NGOs
-Good command in English and Arabic languages.
-Familiar with MS Office
