Responsibilities
As National Sponsorship assistant:
Assist the National Sponsorship Coordinator in his/her work to ensure high quality services to the international sponsor.
Provide a constant cycle of information and services to international sponsors.
Handle letters sent to children and send back to the villages after dispatching while sending letter replies as proof of reception to the sponsors.
Manage with great care the relation between international sponsors and children in SOS care.
Ensure protection and preserve the personal data of the children, their families, sponsors and employees of SOS.
Replace the National Sponsorship Coordinator during his/her absence.
Have writing skills to assist in writing informative and creative reports about children in SOS care and SOS services.
Assist in handling correspondence with service directors and staff to collect data (reports, updates and photos).
Make regular visits to SOS services (facilities) and attend events to take photos and videos for the three annual National Sponsorship campaigns.
Be familiar with the National Sponsorship software and assist in uploading data (reports, photos, and metadata).
As Multimedia assistant
Document events and activities in the National Office.
Perform video and photo editing to ensure professional and engaging content.
Execute the monthly communication plan (manage website and social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn).
Create designs related to social media and greeting cards.
Organize and archive all media materials regularly, including photos, videos, and design files, in a structured and easily accessible manner.


Child Safeguarding (CS)
Child protection is everyone's responsibility
Responsible within own area of work to prevent and protect children of all forms of abuse, abandonment, exploitation, violence and discrimination based on SOS Child Protection Policy principles
Responsible for reporting any CS suspicion, concern, allegation or incident immediately following Child Safeguarding reporting procedures. CS reports should be made to the national CS focal person or any other member of the national CS team and/or to the respective line manager


Qualifications
-Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Communication, or Fundraising
-1-2 years verified experience in administration, customer service or donor relations are required.
Has good written and spoken English / French (if relevant) skills
-Possess excellent organizational skills
-Is a good communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills
-Has an interest in child protection topics
-Can design and create innovative, inspiring messages for sponsors and donors
-Has an eye for design and layout
-work with or within a team and virtual team
-has excellent writing skills
-Has the ability to build and maintain structures and networks
-Is able to design, organize and hold workshops to implement global guidelines and requirements
