Project Following-up and Project Activities Delivery:
- Provide technical support to Health Medair staff in the implementation of HEALTH projects
- Provide administrative support and facilitate implementing training.
- Implementing supervisory, supportive, and monitoring visits to project site locations (Damascus, Rural Damascus, Dara, Homs).
- Prepare financial payments and facilitate delivery of logistical support (Evaluation handing over, Pricing, support Logs, and any needed duty).
- Collect, record, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data from health projects
- Conduct supervision visits to the Medair-supported health facilities including joint monitoring visits with DOH.
- Plan and facilitate training for health facilities staff in close coordination with the HNPM and DOH.
- Refer to the TA and HNPM before making any commitment on behalf of Medair whether verbal or written.
- Maintain a transparent, honest, and supportive communication structure with the DoH and Medair team and communities.
- Support Initial assessment or RNA in potential location.
- Work with the project officer to collate, clean, and enter ODK/databases/tables data for Program activities.
- Implementing beneficiary data protection
- Assist the HNPM in accurate and timely reporting of activities for internal and external reports (e.g. monthly, quarterly, and final reports) as requested by DCO, HQ, and donors
- Photocopying and scanning of all health documents and letters and managing an electronic filing system
- Assist in liaison functions e.g. local delivery of documents, follow-up of letters DOH or SARC
- Perform other related duties as required.

Essential:
- Medical background or related.
- 2 years post-qualification medical professional experience.
- Excellent English (oral & written).
- Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and basic knowledge of Word and Outlook.
Desirable:
- A medical degree with a public health background is preferred
- Education/training/experience in humanitarian work
- Experience working in the humanitarian emergency context
- Knowledge and experience of primary health care principles and management
- Experience using ODK
- Advanced planning, assessment, and analytical skills
- Experience in the monitoring, implementation, and evaluation of public health and nutrition programs

- This position is based in Damascus, Rural Damascus, Dara, Homs with frequent field visits to Rural Damascus, Dara, Homs (50%).

We offer an interesting job with Medair and competitive remuneration. We will offer the successful applicant a six months contract on current projects inclusive of 3 months probation period, renewable dependent on both performance and funding for subsequent projects as per the Project Activities Demands.
