Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Budget Management: Assist in preparing the annual budget, monitor expenditures, and report on variances to management.
Audit and Compliance: Coordinate with internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and financial policies.
Financial Analysis: Provide detailed financial analysis to support decision-making and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Grant Reporting: Prepare financial reports for grants and donations as per donor requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Team Leadership: Supervise the accounting team, providing guidance and supporting professional development.
Policy Development: Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance internal controls and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is strongly preferred.
Experience: At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior accounting or finance role, preferably within an NGO or nonprofit setting.
