Responsibilities
Program Development and Management:‎
Plan, develop, and oversee a variety of programs and activities, including recreational, educational, and social services.‎
Conduct community needs assessments to tailor programs that meet local interests and address community issues.‎
Monitor and evaluate programs to ensure quality and effectiveness, making adjustments based on community ‎feedback.‎
Community Engagement:‎
Build strong relationships with community members, local businesses, and organizations to encourage participation ‎and partnership.‎
Organize outreach efforts, promoting events and activities through social media, newsletters, and local media to ‎increase engagement and awareness.‎
Staff and Volunteer Management:‎
Recruit, train, and supervise staff and volunteers, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.‎
Foster a positive work environment, providing support and development opportunities for staff to improve service ‎delivery.‎
Facility Operations and Maintenance:‎
Ensure the community center is clean, safe, and well-maintained, coordinating with maintenance and cleaning staff.‎
Manage the scheduling of rooms and facilities to optimize usage and accommodate a variety of community needs.‎
Financial Oversight:‎
Prepare and manage the center’s budget, ensuring funds are allocated effectively to support operations and ‎programming.‎
Seek additional funding through grants, sponsorships, and partnerships to enhance the center’s offerings and services.‎
Event Planning and Coordination:‎
Plan and execute community events, including workshops, fairs, and cultural events, that align with the community ‎center's mission.‎
Collaborate with local organizations to co-host events, maximizing resources and outreach.‎
Reporting and Compliance:‎
Maintain accurate records of programs, attendance, budgets, and facility usage.‎
Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies.‎

Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Community Development, or a related field ‎‎(Master’s degree is often preferred).‎
3-5 years in community program management or nonprofit administration, with supervisory experience.‎
