- Receiving requests for assistive devices directly from individuals of interest, volunteer outreach workers, or other staff in community centers/primary healthcare clinics.
- Evaluating the eligibility of the request in light of the requirements/conditions for receiving general material aid/medical material aid, as outlined in the standardized operating procedures.
- Ensuring the purchase of the required device within a timeframe ranging from one week to two weeks (15 days) as recommended, based on priority scale and according to approved procurement rules.
- Directly delivering the device to the individual of interest, or indirectly through outreach volunteers.
- Ensuring the return of the device when temporarily needed (medical material aid), storing it, and ensuring its readiness for use by others.
- Documenting the device provided, retaining a signed receipt from the individual of interest, with the date and device delivered.
- Compiling monthly reports on the devices provided according to the Commission's material aid report template and submitting them to field/subordinate Commission offices and/or its national office, enabling comprehensive program analysis and contributing to better planning.
- Compiling periodic reports on services provided and beneficiary needs, and submitting them to the community center coordinator.
- Maintaining updated records of services provided.
