Responsibilities
-Production Management: Oversee the cultivation, harvesting, and processing of sugar beets and other crops, ensuring optimal yield and quality.
-Supply Chain Coordination: Manage the supply chain for inputs (seeds, fertilizers, pesticides) and outputs (sugar beet products), ensuring timely availability and distribution.
-Budgeting and Financial Oversight: Develop and manage budgets for operations, monitor expenses, and implement cost-control measures.
-Staff Management: Hire, train, and supervise staff, promoting a safe and productive work environment.
-Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations, safety standards, and environmental practices.
-Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control measures to maintain high standards for products.
-Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze production data to identify trends, improve processes, and report performance to upper management.
-Collaboration with R&D: Work with research and development teams to implement new agricultural practices and technologies.
-Customer Relations: Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders in the agricultural sector.
-Crisis Management: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks related to weather, pests, and market fluctuations

Educational Background:
-Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Agribusiness, Horticulture, or a related field.
-A master’s degree (MBA or similar) can be advantageous.
Experience:
-Several years of experience in agricultural operations or management roles.
-Experience specifically in sugar beet production or similar crops is preferred.
Technical Skills:
-Strong understanding of agricultural practices, crop management, and supply chain logistics.
-Proficiency in data analysis and agricultural software tools.
Financial Acumen:
-Knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and cost-control measures.
Leadership Skills:
-Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Problem-Solving Abilities:
-Capacity to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
Regulatory Knowledge:
-Familiarity with agricultural regulations, safety standards, and environmental practices.
