Responsibilities
1.Develop, implement, and monitor child protection programs and activities according to Syrian culture/ norms and context-specific needs.
2.Conduct assessments to identify child protection risks, vulnerabilities, and gaps within SIF facilities, public schools and camp settings, and develop strategies to address them.
3.Provide training and capacity-building to camp staff, case managers, counselor, volunteers and community members on child protection principles, including child rights, child safeguarding, and reporting mechanisms.
4.Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including local authorities, NGOs, and community leaders, to enhance collaboration and referral pathways for child protection cases.
5.Supervise and support camp staff and volunteers during implementing child protection activities, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines, cultural considerations, and document best practices.
6.Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of child protection interventions, collecting data, and reporting on progress and achievements.
7.Respond to child protection concerns, cases of abuse, exploitation, or neglect, following established protocols and ensuring the safety and well-being of affected children.
8.Advocate for the rights and protection of children within targeted areas, raising awareness about child protection issues and mobilizing community support for prevention and response efforts.
9.Collaborate with the SIF education and protection team, health and education partners, and other relevant sectors to integrate child protection concerns into comprehensive service delivery for children and families.
10.Maintain accurate documentation, case records, and reporting in compliance with organizational standards and Syrian context requirements and ensure all data from the case management are kept confidential and only shared on a need.
11.Supervise and cerate tools for an effective remote management.
12.making a weekly, monthly meeting with staff as group or individual to discuss and improve discuss the work progress with cases and beneficiaries, based on needed.
13.Supervise protection programs (life skills, recreational, and awareness child protection activities) and Specialized services (Case management or counseling).
Objectives:
1.To ensure the safety, well-being, and protection of children affected by the Syrian crisis within the camp setting.
2.To strengthen child protection systems, services, and community-based mechanisms to prevent and respond to child rights violations.
3.To empower camp staff, volunteers, and community members to actively promote child protection principles and practices in line with Syrian cultural norms.
4.To advocate for the rights of children and influence policy and practices that support the protection and well-being of children in humanitarian contexts without discrimination.

Qualifications
1.Bachelor's or master's degree in social work, psychology, child protection, or related field.
2.Minimum 3years of experience in child protection programming, preferably in humanitarian settings or contexts affected by conflict.
3.Knowledge of Syrian cultural norms, child protection issues, and the humanitarian context in Syria.
4.Strong understanding of child rights, child safeguarding, and child protection frameworks and standards.
5.Experience in providing training, supervision, and capacity-building to staff and volunteers working with children.
6.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse and multicultural settings especially camp context.
