Tasks & Responsibilities:
1. Beneficiaries Selection:
•In coordination with local communities, contribute to selecting project beneficiaries based on jointly developed selection criteria.
2. Resource Management:
•Participate in defining the specifications for in-kind distributed grants (agricultural tools, seeds, seedlings, drip irrigation systems) alongside technical experts.
• Ensure these resources align with project goals and beneficiaries needs.
3. Training & Knowledge Sharing:
•Collaborate on developing training materials on regenerative agriculture practices.
•Deliver training sessions to targeted farmers on the specific techniques for achieving project goals.
4. Lead Implementation:
•Oversee the project's agricultural activities in assigned villages, this includes coordinating the establishment and management of kitchen gardens, focusing on the implementation of regenerative agricultural techniques.
5. Technical Support & Monitoring:
•Provide ongoing technical guidance and advice to project farmers in close collaboration with technical experts, this involves monitoring progress, identifying challenges, and offering solutions.
6.Innovation & Experimentation:
•Encourage project farmers to experiment with new, sustainable agricultural techniques and share best practices amongst themselves.
•Conduct Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) to gather in-depth feedback from beneficiaries on achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
7.Environmental Education:
•Deliver environmental awareness sessions targeted towards students in schools.
•Collaborate on defining and preparing the content for these sessions.
8. Reporting & Communication:
•Submit regular reports (weekly and monthly) to the project officer detailing progress of agricultural activities, achievements, and any encountered challenges.
9. Documentation & Best Practices:
•Document lessons learned and successful practices throughout the project, this can be used for future project development or knowledge sharing.

•Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or a closely related field.
•Two to three years of experience working directly with farmers in the field, preferably in agronomy, food security, or sustainable agriculture projects.
•Prior experience implementing development projects in the Food, Agriculture and livelihoods Sectors, particularly within the humanitarian sector (plus point).
2.Technical Skills:
•Strong understanding and practical application of sustainable agricultural methods.
•Proficiency in using data collection and analysis tools to monitor project impact.
3.Soft Skills:
•Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and address challenges faced by farmers.
•Strong environmental awareness and commitment to promoting sustainable practices.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with farmers from diverse backgrounds.
•Ability to effectively train and mentor farmers on new agricultural techniques.
•Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
•Strong organizational skills and a meticulous approach to record-keeping and reporting.
4.Language & IT Skills:
•Very good command of English in writing and speaking.
•Very good computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power-point.
