Responsibilities
1)Information Security
Develop, implement and maintain the Associations information security policies, standards and procedures in alignment with ISO 27001.
Conduct regular security risk assessments and develop risk management strategies.
Oversee the design and implementation of security controls and technologies to protect the association's systems and data.
Provide information security awareness training to employees and promote a security culture throughout the organization.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in information security.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Serve as the primary point of contact for information security-related inquiries and incidents.
Identifying vulnerabilities in our current network.
Developing and implementing a comprehensive plan to secure our computing network.
Monitoring network usage to ensure compliance with security policies.
Keeping up to date with developments in IT security standards and threats.
Performing penetration tests to find any flaws.
Collaborating with management and the IT department to improve security.
Documenting any security breaches and assessing their damage.
Educating colleagues and participants about security software and best practices for information security.

2)ICT tasks
Responsible to evaluate the IT skills for co-workers and care givers to create the suitable ICT training material with cooperation with HR manger and ICT Manager.
Train co-workers, caregivers, youths, and children on IT skills and support them to build their IT capacities.
Dedicated to support ICT activities in SOS programmes and National Office if needed.
Report to the National Information Technology Manager for any ICT related activities.
Responsible of implementation of the ICT plan in the Programs by coordinating with National Information Technology Manager
Is responsible for quality assurance within the responsibilities defined in the ICT standards, policies and guidelines in programs.
Participate in the annual planning and related to the ICT actions in programs.
Support with establishing the ICT budget for programs with the cooperation of all stakeholders and insure the execution of this budget upon its approval.
Ensure the regular reporting requested by the National Information Technology Manager.


3)Physical installation of computers, servers, peripherals and network equipment.
a)Monitors the ICT systems and networks in programmes.
b)Provides helpdesk service to users in programmes.
c)Documents ICT configurations and changes in all locations.
d)Organize and monitor SLA’s where necessary.
e)Monitor and ensure the availability of ICT services, internet connections email etc.
f)Ensures compliance with SOS ICT standards.
g)Enforces and adheres to defined local ICT policies on email, network and internet usage.

4)Monitoring, evaluation and reporting
h)Monitor and evaluate the implementation of policies; ensure that tools and systems are in place and correspond to the current organisation’s official policies, standards and guidelines.
i)Organise and monitor technical support for national projects (on request)
j)Support the regular assessment of the country providing information to NICT Manager.
k)Ensure the regular reporting requested by the National ICT Manager.

5)Other tasks
l)Performs other ICT relevant tasks assigned by the NIT Manager.
m)Implement any ICT and related Project in SOS.


Child Safeguarding (CS)

Responsible for raising awareness related to SOS Child Protection Policy principles and to prevent and protect children and young people from all forms of abuse, abandonment, exploitation, violence and discrimination.
Ensure strong focus on CS prevention by organizing informal and formal discussions, workshops and other capacity building activities for children and young people to make them understand the CS risks and protection mechanisms.
•Responsible for reporting any CS suspicion, concern, allegation, or incident immediately, following Child Safeguarding reporting procedures. CS reports should be made to the CS team at programme level and/or to the respective line manager.


Qualifications
-Degree in computer science or a technology-related filed.
-Solid knowledge of various information security frameworks.
-Experience in an information security role information technology.
Good knowledge of Microsoft based IT systems and infrastructure solutions
-A team player with excellent communication
-Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
-Self-motivated, result-oriented, innovative and service-oriented
-Ability to educate a non-technical audience about various security measures.
-Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Specific Vacancy Requirements
-IT Management Certificates if available (COBIT, ITIL, CAMP, etc. )
-Professional information security certificate is preferable

Salary and Benefits
the contract is for 6 months with the option of extension.
salary as per SOS salary scale.
