1.Executing the purchasing orders
•Prepares and develops bid documents and supplier bid lists to obtain competitive quotations materials and other requests.
•Evaluate the quotations of vendors to ensure that they are in compliance with the required technical and commercial specifications.
•Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from vendors
•In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery schedules
•Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors
•Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation
•Maintain and implement construction proforma / budget for each project
•Negotiate pricing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
•Develop and implement new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification
•Establish new relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure adequate resources for all projects and to continually improve pricing and quality of work
•Handle change order requests
•Forecast upcoming demand
•Reviews tenders and purchase award documentation with respect to quality, suitability, delivery and pricing.
•Coordinates and resolves problems with end user departments and suppliers.
2.Supports construction project procurement.
•Prepares requests for proposals (RFPs) and bid documentation.
•Participate in bid opening and selection with the concerned departments.
3.Performs records maintenance.
•Develops and maintains purchasing records;
•Follows the department of archives policy regarding the disposal and retention of records.
•Prepares and maintains accurate records and documentation on all solicitations, responses, purchases, contracts, correspondence and related follow up.
4.Perform any other duties as assigned by the management.

Qualifications:
•Required: Diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or any equivalent certifications.
•Preferred: Bachelor in Business Administration, Engineering, or any equivalent certifications.
Experience:
•Required: Minimum five (5) years in purchasing in the construction and/or engineering business.
•Preferred: Ten (10) years in purchasing in the construction and/or engineering business.
•Required: Diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or any equivalent certifications.
•Preferred: Bachelor in Business Administration, Engineering, or any equivalent certifications.
Experience:
•Required: Minimum five (5) years in purchasing in the construction and/or engineering business.
