Responsibilities
Key Responsiblities:

*Formulate the mid and long term company business strategy in terms of subscribers acquisitions, customer management/retention, and adopting new products/technologies.
*Create the detailed company business plans (1 year & 5 years) and align the overall results of MTN’s strategy.
*Provide accurate forecasts of subscriptions volume and revenue classification with periodic updates.
*Define and position commercial strategies and tactics to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
*Set and implement the product strategy for the consumers segment (Postpaid & Prepaid subscribers) including product design, feasibility studies, launch, and post-analysis.
*Perform comprehensive analysis of global strategies to identify business-planning requirements for new investments and support effective decision-making by senior management i.e. benchmarking, profitability- and trend analysis
*Coordinate the generation of alternative strategies to achieve the stated goals and objectives of the company (as set by the Board and top management),
*Monitor the operation performance (financial and commercial figures, QoS at product level, market perception, etc.) and regularly consult the executive management on required tactical and marketing measures to meet the company targets.
*Conducts deep dive analysis into past performance results in order to map out trends and identify key response variables, leveraging on these findings to optimize customer acquisition and value creation.
*Develop a sound understanding of products and services in which the company might profitably compete including anticipated growth, present and potential competitors
*Monitor and analyze competitor activities such as product features, pricing decisions, promotions, channel development. Develop a database of competitive information to fulfill ad-hoc information requirements.
*Monitor telecom industry trends in the region and globally to enable effective benchmarking and learning from industry best practices.
*Utilize Data Mining techniques to develop several analytical models (Behavioral Segmentation, Churn Prediction…etc).
*Foster the decision making capability by development of Analytical models for Churn Management, Competitors Analysis, and Customer Value Development (CVD).
*Develop and lead the business intelligence, including implementation of advanced analytics as a core competency across MTN to drive insights into Value Propositions development.
*Initiate and following up quantitative and qualitative market research campaigns.
*Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by management.
*Design presentation style and scope of results and reports.

Qualifications
*Education Stander: Bachelor Degree in Equivalent specialization
Business management/marketing/finance or data/statistical
analytics. MA,MBA or M.Sc. is a plus
*Years of Experience :minimum 5 years of experience , 3 years of
experience in leading others in relevant industry
* Languages Skills: Excellent in English.
* Advanced Computer skills and Strategic analysis and planning
