Participate in planning, implementation and monitoring of the ICRC Relief, Livelihood and nutrition programs in the assigned area.
Assess the humanitarian situation and needs, particularly in the field of economic security, emergencies and livelihoods of the affected population in the area of responsibility (AoR)
Participate actively in the development of strategies, plans, project proposals and programs linked with livelihood / relief activities.
Establish and maintain regular coordination with the relevant humanitarian sectors and other actors.
Participate actively in the formulation of weekly and monthly plans of action (PoA) with regards to the implementation of the EcoSec program in the respective operational area.
Propose adjustments or corrective steps in program implementation when necessary.
Interview beneficiaries and community members independently as per the set EcoSec procedures and guidelines.
Assist EcoSec delegate in identifying operational strategies and defining short- and mid-term objectives/PoA.
Provides necessary support to the EcoSec Micro Economic Initiatives (MEI) file holder.
Actively contributes to other wider EcoSec work at the HAS Sub-Delegation level.
Generate statistical and narrative reports as required.

Permanently present in Syria since 1967, the ICRC is a neutral, impartial, and independent organization with an exclusively humanitarian mission. The ICRC works closely with and supports the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) to meet food, water, and health needs of people affected by the fighting in both emergencies and to help them start rebuilding their lives. They work together to raise awareness about risks from mines and other explosive remnants. The ICRC works to restore links between families who have been separated by the conflict and migration, visits a number of prisons, promotes respect for international humanitarian law. The ICRC also provides advice and support to local authorities and forensics practitioners in managing human remains with respect and dignity. The ICRC's operation in Syria is its largest in the world, with over 650 staff working in its offices in Damascus, Aleppo, Hama, Hassakeh, Homs, and Tartous.
