Responsibilities
• Develop, implement and follow up on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support programs (MHPSS) in North East Syria.
• Follow up on general MHPSS situation, needs and services.
• Develop and maintain contacts with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) and other relevant agencies.
• Provide written reports on activities carried out by the unit.
• Plan, organize and conduct field visits in coordination with the his/her supervisor.
• Develop and coordinate ICRC workshop, trainings, and seminars, internally and externally.
• Follow up on administrative and logistic issues.
• Translate from Arabic to English and vice-versa.

Qualifications
• University degree in psychiatry, psychology, psychological counselling or social science
• Minimum of 3 years of overall professional experience in similar position.
• Proficient command of English language.
• Very good computer skills.
• Humanitarian experience an asset
• Flexibility in travelling and long working hours is a must.

About us
Permanently present in Syria since 1967, the ICRC is a neutral, impartial, and independent organization with an exclusively humanitarian mission. The ICRC works closely with and supports the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) to meet food, water, and health needs of people affected by the fighting in both emergencies and to help them start rebuilding their lives.
