Responsibilities
• Compile, review, and share timely, and quality narrative reports with the management of the country office.
• In coordination with the management team and project coordinators, support the write up of planning and learning documents including – but not limited to- program annual plans, country office strategy updates, and context analysis updates and other related documents.
• Draft ToRs for needs and baseline assessments, evaluations and impact assessments, and develop assessments reports based on data collection and analysis inputs provided by the M&E team.
• Support a systematic documentation for learnings and stories throughout the timespan of different implemented projects including lessons learned, best practices, success stories, and related program and project communication materials.
• Ensure the dissemination of information and knowledge sharing among country office staff as advised by the management team.
• Revise, and adjust project reports according to quality standards and requirements of donors
• Ensure proper archiving of relevant final documents.
• Revise planning and reporting document guidelines and policies as shared by the head office, and support the country office compliance to such guidelines. Coordinate when necessary participative learning and knowledge sharing workshops and meetings to explain the guidelines and obtain inputs and feedback from country office staff.
• Provide training to program staff, including MEAL assistants on accountability and reporting tools and systems.
• Support the Program Manager, Project Coordinators, and the MEAL officers in strengthening accountability measures and relevant monitoring and reporting systems including feedback and complaints mechanisms, child safeguarding, adherence to FCA Code of Conduct, and in other relevant areas.

• Prepare timeline plan for all reporting and planning milestones and deliverables including for Country Program Annual Plan, and Annual Report, ECHO, UN, and other donors reporting and data sharing requirements
• Ensure that all reports are submitted in timely manner to donors and HQ
• Support development of visibility and communication efforts in the Syria country office
• Conduct field visits whenever needed or requested by line supervisor to areas of operation of FCA to support M&E data compilation



Qualifications
• Fluent English skills in written and spoken
• At least three years of working experience with INGOs in exact ( or similar) areas as described in this Job description
• Very good understanding of MEAL systems
• Very good knowledge in concepts and mechanisms of needs and baseline assessments, project evaluations and impact assessments.
• Excellent understanding of local Syrian context
• High communication, organizational, multitasking and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure in demanding environment
• High level computer literacy and knowledge of spreadsheet applications.
• Good Level of knowledge in communication and visibility principles and standards.

Specific Vacancy Requirements
Problem solution requires selecting independently between different methods.
Work is mainly done according to general instructions, and it may include fact-finding and group responsibility.
