Responsibilities
The expert will perform the following duties:
1. Facilitate training courses in different governorates or remote training on WHO mhGAP Intervention guide for non-specialized health professionals to mainstream mental health care in non-specialized health care settings. Considering GBV component and other health condition such as NCDs, CDs, and emergency response. In addition to emergencies response trainings ex: COVID-19 response for health and community workers and school counselors to mainstream mental health care in non-specialized health care settings, schools, and community centers.
2. Conduct regular field visits or remote sessions” using (cell phones, emails and other possible communications methods), meetings to provide support and on-job training group and/or individual and follow up for health professionals at non-specialized health care settings based on mhGAP support and supervision guide at MOH, MOHE, MoE, SARC, UNRWA & other UN agencies INGOs and NGOs.
3. Participate in the coordination and follow up meetings whenever requested with WHO staff/ focal points in different governorates.
4. Facilitate any other activity as per the needs and related to MHPSS, estimated by the programme management.


Qualifications
B.A in Psychiatry
Experience :
Min of 3 years experience in working with UN or international agencies under Mental Health programs

Specific Vacancy Requirements

Salary and Benefits
The type of contract is APW (agreement for performance of work )-salary as per APW scale
contractual duration till the end of 2021
