Needs assessment:
The field volunteers will play key roles in Oxfam response to the affected population in Syria, they will be part/ contribute to the following:
•Under the supervision and management of the WASH/ EFSVL and gender team, they will participate/ contribute in needs assessment visits, coordinate with local authorities at the targeted areas to arrange for site visits, FGDs and KI interviews.
•Collect data and provide inputs/ data entry to the assessment templates/ forms
•They will be trained to deliver capacity building training, awareness session at the community and schools’ levels and establishment of communities’ committees in targeted locations.
•Will be part of Oxfam campaign and cash assistance program, follow up cash for work CFW and SWM activity and participate in the selection of the beneficiaries, will follow up on the implementation/ distribution of the cash/ kits and report to the technical teams on daily bases.
•Under the supervision of the EFSVL Support the implementation of vocational training sessions
•Report to the project team/ media and communication team humanitarian stories from the field to demonstrate the impact of the intervention on the life of the affected population
•Under the supervision of the WASH/EFSVL team they will contribute to the selection of the most vulnerable groups, identify selection criteria and list of beneficiaries
•Under the direct supervision and management of the technical team they will participate in the distribution of hygiene material, NFI kits and tools, prepare beneficiaries lists, contact beneficiaries to collect information and to inform them about the distribution locations and time.
•They will be part of Oxfam monitoring and evaluation teams; they will be trained to conduct DDM and PDM and report to the MEAL team
•They will be responsible to document the assessment forms, reports, distribution photos registration and beneficiaries’ lists.
•Any other tasks as assigned by the AM, thematic coordinators, PMs, and the technical teams

Interventions implemented under Oxfam's WASH Programme include: Provision of Acute Emergency Life-Saving WASH Services, Rehabilitation of Water Systems, Hygiene Promotion and Water Conservation, Capacity Building and Training, and Improved Emergency WASH Coordination. To date, Oxfam has been worked in 10 governorates, seeking out to over 2.5 million beneficiaries.
