-Provide expert guidance and contribute to the implementation of livelihoods activities of FCA in Syria
-Ensure smooth implementation of the Livelihood project (s), tracking the work plan and budget to assure timely and efficient implementation
-Liaise with the relevant ministries to ensure smooth working relationship and dissemination of best practices
-Provide lessons learned, promote advocacy agendas and provide overall system support to key stakeholders
-Prioritize business sectors for development based the market assessment and local needs
-Participate in planning, capacity building, progress monitoring and evaluation of results and ensure proper documentation in collaboration with M&E department
-Ensure good collaboration with and participation of various stakeholders including but not limited to Ministries municipalities, local councils, UN agencies, employment centers, relevant projects of other (I)NGO and other key stakeholders
-Develop partnerships and relationships with local organizations and key stakeholders that can complement FCA programmatic activities.
-Analysis business environment and market needs and do advise on the business plans of the beneficiaries.
-Acquire or create training materials, manuals, as needed for trainings
-Assist in selection of beneficiaries in collaboration with key stakeholders and project partner
-Oversee selection for grants and the amount given to each grant beneficiary in collaboration with project team
-Collect feedback from beneficiaries, write report/presentation
-Contract external researchers to assist in project activities.

-University degree in Development Studies, Socio-economic Studies, Business Administration or equivalent
-Minimum of 5 years of relevant practical experience in socio-economic development and livelihoods programming, employment or entrepreneurship promotion, private sector development, local economic recovery, poverty reduction strategies and/or markets value chain approaches. Proven track record in urban and rural small business development and business planning; market research and development; networking, consulting, coaching and/or mentoring
-Knowledge of the trends in the livelihoods sector in Jordan, including latest developments concerning refugee livelihoods
-Experience in working in international and/or national NGOs with a solid understanding of project work.
-Good command of MS Office products, including Excel, and ability to learn new software
-Native Arabic speaker with excellent English language skills
-Minimum of 5 years of relevant practical experience in socio-economic development and livelihoods programming, employment or entrepreneurship promotion, private sector development, local economic recovery, poverty reduction strategies and/or markets value chain approaches.
