.Support the realization of community protection initiatives ensuring technical quality regarding protection standards and assessing the needs and strengths of the communities in a culturally sensitive manner.
.Support the teams in the ground in terms of providing technical support in conducting Psychological First Aid (PFA) and Psycho-Social Support (PSS) activities with the communities and at individual level.
.Support the development of PSS materials and resources to be used in communities by the mobile teams.
.With the supervision of the Protection Officer and in coordination with SARC support to contextualize and adapt internal and global guidelines for PSA and PSS activities.
.Support on assessing community protection needs and gaps and identify protection risks that can be mitigated with awareness .Work in partnership with the case workers and case managers to identify themes and topics for community awareness and capacity .Support on design awareness protection messages in a culturally appropriate manner.
.Facilitate the implementation of community awareness initiatives working alongside with mobile teams
.Support the constitution of community protection committees and facilitate the training to the committees on protection risks and mitigation measures.
.Promote cohesion and harmonization of PSS and community activities and services across the different areas of operations.
.In coordination with the protection teams, assess and identify protection PSS and CP needs and gaps of target populations, periodically update the protection situation analysis to inform the programme accordingly.
.Support the identification of new protection interventions and support in need assessments when is requested by direct supervisor
.Participate in the weekly coordination meeting with the mobile teams in order to define priorities in field activities implementation.
.Ensure a strong and articulated coordination with the PSS mobile teams

.University degree in relevant field e.g Social Science, Social Work, Psychology or equivalent is an asset
.One year of relevant working experience in protection-related sector.
.Practical experience in PSS activities and community engagement initiatives
.Dynamic, problem solver, flexible, able to work under pressure
.Good organizational skills and ability to manage efficiently multiple priorities
.Capability of networking with partners, stakeholders and local authorities
.Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet)
.Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
.Previous working experience with INGO is an asset
.One year of relevant working experience in protection-related sector.
