Responsibility 1: Perform proper Finance topics according to TGH regulations
-Verifying that any transaction is supported by proper supporting documentations as per TGH’s financial rules and regulation and proper authorization is obtained prior releasing a payment, as well as verifying all expenses allocations
-Cash box and cash book management – giving advances, making payments, cash flow
-Performs daily accountancy - input invoices into the cash/bank books- cash/bank reconciliation and keep it up to date on a daily basis
-In charge of gathering the accountancy from all fields and operate a first check
-Performs the monthly accountancy check with the Support Coordinator
-Editing and/or filling vouchers and other documents of TGH mission to submit from Damascus to Headquarters
-Ensures appropriate use of the Triangle software and tools for all tasks
-Ensures all correspondence between TGH and the Bank
Responsibility 2: Ensure daily HR activities
-Keep up to date the HR DATA file with all relevant information and documents
-Fill and check the overall DATA salary information before Support coordinator check and validation
-Prepares timesheets, salary sheets and salaries for all national staff
-Ensures that all HR folders are complete and updated
-Ensures the update of the general HR follow up tool (trainings, disciplinary…)
-Supports all recruitment processes (job description gathering, job vacancy publication, selection process arrangement…)
-Prepares, as per needed, working contract, amendment, work certificate and all other HR Documents
-Manages the dedicated administrative personnel (cleaner)
-Assists Support coordinator in any HR related issue
Responsibility 3: Contribute to TGH compliance with all administrative requirements
-Ensure a proper level of information to the Support Coordinator regarding all Syrian laws and regulation
-Ensure the link and efficient follow-up between TGH and all institutional administration (SARC, Income tax department, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Immigration…) as per required by the Support Coordinator
-Contributes to the preparation of audits
-Ensure a proper level of soft and hard records for all TGH documents (financial, accountancy, administrative, HR)
Responsibility 4: Ensure translation into English/Arabic as soon as necessary for working documents
-Translate in case of misunderstanding for employees
-Translating memos or other documents as necessary

Established in 1994 TGH is an International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO) designing and implementing emergency, rehabilitation and development programs. Its action includes several areas of expertise within a comprehensive approach: the programs fall within the fields of Education; Water Hygiene & Sanitation; Food Security, Livelihood & Rural Development. In 2018, TGH operates in 10 countries and manages 70 programs.
TGH has been registered in Syria in May 2017 and works under the coordination of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC). Both Organisations have agreed to cooperate in order to enhance their common objective of offering humanitarian aid to the Syrian affected people that need help wherever it is possible in the country. The main TGH sectors of activities in Syria are WASH and Education.
A preliminary assessment in the WASH sector has been carried-out by TGH from 18th July to 27th July 2017 under the coordination and with the support of SARC. Another one has been conducted by TGH team and SARC in Hama in October 2018.
Since then, TGH signed 2 WASH projects in Hama under SHF and Rural Damascus under CDCS, and is planning to submit project proposal to various donors in 2019.
