• Jointly with WHO partners and the MoH/DoH identify gaps, conduct need assessments and respond to emergency needs and update WCO Damascus in a regular and timely manner.
• Identify and elaborate with MOH/DOH, NGOs and other health partners on the ground required priority health interventions in the area
• Strengthen/support, liaise with MoH/DoH, NGOs and other health partners regarding the implementation of WHO programmes /intervention areas.
• Coordinate health plans and activities with UN partners and key stakeholders in the field.
• Follow up on project implementation of WHO partners / local NGOs through conducting regular visits, meetings and reviewing their technical and financial reports before forwarding to WCO Damascus.
• Assist and monitor the distribution of WHO donated medicines, medical supplies and equipment to national NGOs in Homs, and submit regular distribution reports accordingly.
• Coordinate and follow–up on the implementation of HeRAMS (Health Resources & services Availability Mapping System) at affiliated health facilities to NGOs, and fill-in gaps of data, at the governorate level and report to WHO office on a monthly basis.
• Report regularly, at least weekly, to the responsible technical officer in WCO and submit monthly progress reports as required.
• Perform any other activities as per the needs and related to area of work.

Essential: University degree in Social Sciences, business administration or related field. Any certificate medical Background will be an asset.
• Essential experience and skills : 3-5 years relevant experience in the area of partnership development and project management experience
o Good communication skills
o Ability to communicate in English.
