Responsibilities
- Provides daily health education and awareness-raising activities to beneficiaries on selected topics for the Medical Mobile Team (MMT) beneficiaries.
- Support the health program in executing education-related surveys, group discussions, social listening activities, and needs assessment activities.
- Register conducted health education activities on both printed register and electronic system.
- Prepare, check, and submit health education reports on a daily/monthly basis.
- Adhere to health education guidelines and code of conduct in providing the services.
- Build, strengthen, and share lessons learned regarding best practices to be followed in the team.
- In coordination with the health officer, and under the supervision of the health advisor work to improve and update health education topics and related IEC materials.
- Distribute health education IEC materials.
- Data entry of all collected data from the field.
- Prepare and provide reports on achieved work.
- Prepare any other needed reports.
- Perform additional health education tasks as the Health Officer sees necessary.
- Any other duty deemed necessary for the fulfillment of program objectives and IMC planned activities.
- The duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and not necessarily all-inclusive.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Direct Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Minimum Intermediate Institute Degree in a health-related field.
- A minimum of one to two years of experience is required in the humanitarian field, in the scope of awareness raising.
- Experience from local or international NGOs is preferred.
- Experience in fieldwork is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.

- Good interpersonal. presentation and communication skills including capacity and flexibility to work within a team.
- Able to demonstrate sufficient health knowledge including health, hygiene, and nutrition.
