Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Analysis:‎
Oversee and prepare accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow ‎statements, ensuring they align with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial ‎Reporting Standards (IFRS).‎
Conduct thorough analysis of financial data, identifying trends, variances, and insights that aid in strategic planning ‎and decision-making.‎
Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:‎
Ensure financial reporting complies with all relevant regulations, such as GAAP, IFRS, or local statutory requirements.‎
Coordinate with auditors (internal and external) to facilitate audits and address any issues or discrepancies in ‎financial reporting.‎
Budgeting and Forecasting:‎
Collaborate with finance and operations teams to prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and financial ‎projections.‎
Analyze budget variances and provide insights on key financial drivers, ensuring the company’s financial plans align ‎with business goals.‎
Process Improvement:‎
Implement and optimize financial reporting processes, aiming to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.‎
Leverage financial software and systems to automate reporting where possible and maintain data integrity.‎
Leadership and Team Management:‎
Manage a team of financial analysts or accountants, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality ‎reporting.‎
Collaborate across departments, providing financial insights that support business unit leaders and functional ‎managers.‎

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred).‎
Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial reporting or a related area, with proven knowledge of IFRS/GAAP.‎
