Responsibilities
1. Supervise work at all levels (receptionists, kitchen staff, housekeepers, office employees, etc.) and set clear objectives.
2. Develop terms of references and recruit, train, and monitor staff.
3. Plan activities and allocate responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operating model
4. Develop and plan work schedules for individuals and teams.
5. Prepare and execute the budget approved by the Board of Directors and propose amendments to such budget.
6. Manage budgets/expenses, analyze and interpret financial information and monitor sales and profits.
7. Develop and implement an intuitive and efficient marketing strategy to promote the Guest House ’s services.
8. When appropriate, communicate with customers (welcome them in the facilities, address their complaints, find solutions to problems, offer information, etc.).
9. Deal with maintenance issues, shortages in staff or equipment, renovations, etc.
10. Collaborate with external parties such as contractors, suppliers, travel agencies, corporates, Government, NGOs, event/conference planners, etc.
11. Carry out inspections of property and services and maintain the standard of the Guest House.
12. Inspect facilities regularly and enforce strict compliance with health and safety standards.


Qualifications
• Suitability to undertake the responsibilities mentioned above.
• Capable highly works in a team of highly professional staff and administrative staff.
• Minimum five (5) years of proven experience as Hotel Manager or relevant role.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Understanding of all hotel management best practices and applicable laws and guidelines.
• Working knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of hotel management software (PMS) is an advantage.
