Responsibilities
* Conduct regular field visits to programme sites to provide technical oversight and guidance to the education programme partners.
* Monitor the implementation of formal and non formal education programs including IDP camps
Carry out needs assessments and gather technical information and data that will help inform ongoing programme development and implementation.
* Identify capacity and technical gaps of the implementing partners and provide technical support including onsite training to partners to ensure the implementation of self-learning programmes in line with the self-learning operational guide.
* Verify supplies delivered to partners and children in line with relevant programme documents, and document any delays and bottlenecks
* Perform any other task as required

Qualifications
* At least three to five years of relevant work experience in project/programme management, monitoring and reporting in education programs.
* Experience in collecting and compiling quantitative and qualitative data.
* Experience working in a humanitarian context.
* Experience working with UN or NGO programmes/projects
Relevant experience in education context of Al- Raqqa is an asset.
* Knowledge of Education programming and rehabilitation of schools is considered an advantage.
* Familiar with Accountability to Affected Populations field.

* Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to analyse diverse and complex information from a wide range of sources to make analytical statements to inform decision-making.
* Strong technical expertise in the programmatic area of reference.
* Good report writing skills.
* Capacity to work in an emergency context under stressful conditions and strict deadlines.
* Good communication and networking skills, including the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams as well as establishing and maintaining close working relationships with a * variety of implementing partners and counterparts at different levels.
* Good computer skills, including experience with various software applications.
