1. Respond to all IT Help Desk received requests in a professional manner, provide support and follow up requests until resolving.
2. Troubleshoot workstation hardware and software, and conduct hardware failure and maintenance report.
3. Inspect, assess IT endpoint systems of Syriatel and gather the requirements in order to come up with the best solutions.
4. Participate in design, planning and development of IT helpdesk services and solutions based on business needs.
5. Test the feasibility of applying new technologies on IT hardware and software and provide pre-design figures and cost analysis accordingly.
6. Implement POC (Proof of Concept) environment to test new end-point technologies.
7. Implement, support the rollout, and test newly acquired applications.
8. Analyze the technical specifications of IT hardware and software in providers’ offers and conduct specifications acceptance for the delivered items.
9. Evaluate the returned IT hardware and report maintenance needs accordingly.
10. Test and evaluate new IT technologies.
11. Coordinate with various parties to accommodate IT needs for special events including seminars and exhibitions.
12. Research for new technologies applied worldwide that can reduce incidents solving time and enhance help desk operations.
13. Prepare manuals and documents of technical knowledge and lesson learned.
14. Check Section & Individual objectives on regular basis and effectively participate in achieving them to ensure successful contribution to company's goals and corporate objectives.
15. Participate in conducting the OJT for new team members and promote a culture of knowledge transfer, cooperation and teamwork.
16. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Syriatel Quality Management System.

1. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / IT Engineering, with 2 Years of experience in installation and supporting OS, desktop applications and hardware are required.
2. Professional Certification:
• Operating Systems Professional Certificates (Windows), A+ are required.
• MCSA / MCSE / ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) are a plus.
