1. Data Management:
o Develop and maintain databases to store and manage spatial and non-spatial data.
o Ensure data quality, consistency, and security.
o Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources.
2. GIS Mapping:
o Create and update maps to support project planning and decision-making.
o Produce high-quality cartographic outputs for reports, presentations, and publications.
o Conduct spatial analysis to identify trends and patterns.
3. Information Dissemination:
o Develop and distribute information products (e.g., maps, reports, dashboards) to stakeholders.
o Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information.
o Maintain an up-to-date repository of information products.
4. Technical Support:
o Provide technical support and training to staff on data management and GIS tools.
o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GIS software and databases.
o Stay updated on the latest developments in GIS and information management technologies.
5. Coordination and Collaboration:
o Collaborate with other departments and external partners to gather and share information.
o Participate in coordination meetings and represent the organization in relevant forums.
o Support the development and implementation of information management strategies.
6. Reporting and Documentation:
o Prepare regular reports on information management activities and achievements.
o Document methodologies and processes for data collection, analysis, and dissemination.
o Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy policies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
