Responsibilities
Objective 1: Responsible for Appropriate Financial Management of the Consortium and Partnerships
-Follow up and ensure with implementing partners timing and quality of their financial reports and validate them to confirm accuracy, and compliance.
-Support and follow the financial planning of the Partnerships, notably through the regular update of its forecasts based on inputs from different partners/departments.
-Ensure the appropriate use of the analytical accounting (codification, use, etc.) and the correct allocation of funds
-Responsible for preparing and reviewing any budgetary modification.
-Responsible for preparing Partnerships financial reports, compiling other partners financial reports and preparing and consolidating donor financial reporting.
-Draft, review and update the financial part of Sub-agreements with local and international counterparts.
Objective 2: Ensure Correct & Reliable Accountancy Recordings of Partnerships
-Supervise and support in the monthly closing of the accountancy (Partners Only
-Supervise the project registry of its accounting into ACF system
-Review of accounting analytical and financial accounting, appropriate use of parameters, matching, use of bank accounts, etc.
-Ensure the timely and appropriate archiving and quality of supporting documents to the accounting transactions registered for partners’ expenses.
Objective 3: Support in Treasury Management of the Partners
-Provide proactive management of the Partnerships treasury flows,
-Define the treasury flows within the Partnerships grants and supervise its correct implementation.
Objective 4: Coordinate & Support on all Financial & Administrative issues of Partners
-Support Partners on Donors main guidelines and produce all needed documents and tools regarding guidelines and financial management
-Request on a monthly/quarterly basis a sample of invoices and their proof of payment (both ACF’s and Partner’s).
-Provide regular briefings and trainings on finance management to national and local partners (new and existing) to strengthen their capacities and ensure smoother understanding of ACF and Donors requirements and good practices

Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Finance or any other relevant field.
-Technical specific knowledge in Finance / Accounting / Banking
-2 Years minimum experience working in the Finance Field.

Specific Vacancy Requirements
-Preferable experience in drafting budgets, financial reports, budget follow up and audit follow up.
-Humanitarian sector knowledge: Preferred
-Fluent in English and Arabic
-Advanced Windows MS Office user, a proficient level of MS Excel compulsory
-Mobility national and international

Salary and Benefits
Contract period: 6 months renewable base on Action Against Hunger fund and performance.
Salary/benefits: According to Action Against Hunger's salary scale and terms and conditions.
Duty station: Damascus
