Responsibilities
• Coordinates the referral of patients requiring transfer to other health facilities in the Camp.
• Liaises with the referral hospital in Hassakeh to ensure all payments are accurate and made on time.
• Maintains updated records of referred patients and submits statistics and reporting as required.
• Guarantees and supervises to ensure that high-quality care is provided to patients, following the ICRC's nursing guidelines and in cooperation with other members of the hospital team.
• Participates effectively in any emergency-preparedness or response measures undertaken by the team or hospital.
• Ensures that all items required for the nursing care are available.
• Covers the duties and responsibilities of other team members during their absences.


Qualifications
• diploma in Nursing.
• Good command of Arabic and English.
• Computer literacy.
• 2 years’ previous professional experiences.

Purpose & Scope of Your Role:

The ‘Health Field Officer’ contributes to implementing, running, and monitoring the health programs in cooperation with the health team, for the areas of Damascus & rural Damascus, Southern Syria, Homs, Hama, Lattakia, Tartous, and Deir Ezzor governorates.
