Responsibilities
Project Management and Implementation
Strategic vision and supervision of the Education and Protection teams across the country, in coordination with, and under the technical supervision of the Education and Protection Coordinator.
Lead the planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting (internal and external) of project activities with a specific emphasis on remote project management.
Ensure program’s adaptability to the operational context, adapting tools and project implementation approaches.
Oversee program performance, budget control, expenditures, procurement, and overall project cycle management as per contractual obligations, timelines, and donor compliance in coordination with the Education and Protection Coordinator.
Develop the project implementation plan including procurement and distribution schedules of program inputs in line with project logistics/supply chain capacity.
Ensure the compliance with INEE Minimum Standards for Education and Minimum Standards for Child Protection (CPMS) within the implementation of all activities across governorates.
Ensure quality and relevance of the sessions’ curriculum content in all non-formal education and child protection interventions, in coordination with and taking into consideration feedback and inputs from relevant stakeholders.
Ensure that the local partners have work plans in place and follow up with them regularly to ensure that activities are on track.
Establish and maintain partnerships with local governments, NGOs, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
Ensure the project is implemented in ways responsive to communities, partners, and children in line with SIF’s principles, values, and strategic plan and compliant with SIF’s procedures.
Ensure implementation of protection mainstreaming/integration guidance for other technical teams and programs (Mine Risk Education/Humanitarian Mine Action, Livelihood, Emergency Response, Partnership, MEAL) and promote multi-sectoral approaches.

Risk Management and Compliances
Identify, assess and inform Education and Protection Coordinator on potential risks related to program implementation and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies, including safeguarding policies and ethical standards.
Ensure compliance with contractual arrangements
Managing Staff, Providing Guidance, and Facilitating Growth
Under the leadership of the Education and Protection Coordinator, support the Education and Protection project team to ensure the effective implementation of projects with adequate support and resources, establishing clear communication channels between field and central office levels as well as with other departments.
Set expectations, offer leadership, and provide technical assistance as necessary to enable Education and Protection team to fulfil their roles effectively, under the leadership of the Education and Protection Coordinator.
Oversee, under the responsibility of the Education and Protection Coordinator, the daily performance within the department through performance evaluations, coaching, mentoring, training, and professional development opportunities.
Under the responsibility of the Education and Protection Coordinator, participate in developing an Education and Protection team training program at the organizational level to enhance the capacity and awareness among all staff, identifying training needs and collaborating with team members to implement the program.
Internal and External Reporting
Ensure timely and high-quality fulfilment of all reporting requirements for programs in coordination with programme, grant and MEAL team.
Produce high-quality narrative reports highlighting project achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.
Ensure that all reporting is conducted in compliance with organizational policies and procedures, as well as donor regulations and requirements.

Facilitating Learning for Strategic Decision-Making
Gather and integrate data from various thematic and operational areas to analyse program impacts, supporting organizational learning and strategic planning.
Lead efforts to promote collaboration and integration among thematic programs, optimizing overall outcomes for communities.
Communicate key findings and monitoring data through reports to facilitate timely and informed decision-making by management.
Representation
In coordination with Education and Protection Coordinator and Programmes Coordinator, represent SIF at pertinent inter-NGO and stakeholders' meetings at the field level, promoting the sharing of best practices and learning among agencies.

Qualifications
Minimum of four years of project management in a both emergency and development contexts, with solid experience in education and protection.
Bachelor’s degree in an area of social development, education sciences or equivalent, master’s degree is preferred.
Knowledge of donor regulations and requirements, particularly related to humanitarian assistance
Excellent project management skills, including project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and reporting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills including influencing, negotiation, and coaching.
Knowledge in MEAL systems and quantitative monitoring
Strong results orientation, with the ability to challenge existing mindsets.
Builds and maintains effective relationships, with their team, colleagues, and external partners.
Values diversity as a source of competitive strength.
Approachable, good listener, easy to talk to.
Experience of solving complex issues through analysis, definition of a clear way forward
Ability to present complex information in a succinct and compelling manner.
