Responsibilities
The volunteers work to support either the MEAL or the programs team, by conducting field or administrative activities. The main purpose of the volunteers is to support data collection (assessment, registration, PDM), distributions, monitoring and evaluation activities. The volunteers coordinate with either the MEAL or programs team, depending on the specific assignment.

oConducting phone calls with beneficiaries to verify their information;
oConducting household surveys for baseline or endline assessments;
oCollecting data on a daily basis using handheld tablets (KOBO toolbox), while ensuring high quality and privacy of data;
oPreparing and checking daily required logistics for field missions;
oExtracting and submitting the surveys on daily basis;
oAdministrative tasks for preparation for distributions, including but limited to: checking the distribution list, rolls-up, leaflets and informing the beneficiaries about the exact data, hour and location of distribution;
oVerifying the supportive documents of beneficiaries (IDs, Family book) as they are listed in the distribution papers;
oSupporting the distribution process and ensuring the protection is mainstreamed during the assessment and distribution;
oConducting post distribution monitoring exercises, either in person or via phone calls;
oActing as a note taker/moderator in Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and Key Information Interviews (KIIs);
oData entry tasks (transcribing, extraction and typing)
oActing as a helpdesk focal point, seeking the feedback from affected people on ZOA's activities, while ensuring highest levels of confidentiality and integrity;
oResponding to the feedback and complaints in coordination with line supervisors;
oAny other tasks as required.



Qualifications
•High school diploma
•Experience with data collection tools
•Good spoken and written command of English
•Excellent spoken and written command of Arabic
•Computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint …)
•Experience with digital & regular data collection tools: KOBO experience is required, other Data collection/analysis software (such as SPSS) is a big plus.
•Familiarity with humanitarian principles, such as humanity, neutrality, impartiality, and independence,

Specific Vacancy Requirements
Regular travel to the project areas is required;

Due to the urgency of the position, candidates will be evaluated on a rolling basis. Early applications are highly encouraged.
