Responsibilities
1. Develop the survey design for UNICEF projects, including methodology, questionnaire creation, and sampling strategy.
2. Train data collectors prior to the data collection phase and conduct pre-field testing of survey instruments for UNICEF projects.
3. Oversee data collection in the field for UNICEF projects, ensuring quality assurance throughout the process.
4. Provide daily technical support and troubleshooting assistance for data collection tools to UNICEF projects' Third-Party Monitors.
5. Supervise data entry and ensure quality assurance for UNICEF projects.
6. Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of UNICEF projects' survey data.
7. Conduct data analysis for UNICEF projects, as well as information management and visualization production.
8. Prepare survey reports and dashboards for UNICEF projects, detailing findings and recommendations, and create presentations summarizing the findings when required.
9. In collaboration with the Project Manager/Coordinator, present findings and recommendations to UNICEF PME.
10. Monitor the surveys’ data collection process, produce the quarter, monthly and weekly samples, and produce the implementation rate regularly.
11. Develop interactive dashboards and static snapshots for UNICEF projects by using POWERBI and ADOBE Illustrator.
12. Support UNICEF projects with information management functions, as needed.


Qualifications
. Education: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Sociology, computer science, business administration or a related field.
2. English Level: (preferable of English language certificate or prof of competence)

3. Computer Skills:
a. Proficiency in various software applications.
b. Proficient in statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, R, PowerBI, or Python.
c. Microsoft Office:

a. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adept in diverse team environments and maintaining close working relationships with partners.

e. Very good report writing skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.

Specific Vacancy Requirements
1. At least one year of progressively responsible relevant work experience on managing surveys including all its steps.
2. Experience working in a humanitarian context.
3. Experience working with UN or NGO programmes /projects will be an asset.
4. Experience working with UNICEF projects will be an asset.
5. Proven experience in compliance monitoring, auditing, or a related field.
