Responsibilities
The Non-Fixed Assessment staff will be responsible for collaborating with community committees to conduct the targeting and assessment phase, ensuring that the most vulnerable and needy members of the community are identified according to the approved beneficiary selection criteria, they shall lead and act as chairperson of all the respective targeting committees and lead on planning for the committee meetings. The incumbent will report directly to the Project Coordinator.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work diligently to finalize beneficiary lists within the stipulated time frame, ensuring accuracy and adherence to the relevant guidelines.
- Once the beneficiary lists are finalized, transition to support the registration and distribution phase, which includes verifying beneficiary eligibility, registering households, and preparing for the distribution of assistance.
- Coordinate efforts with other staff members, including registration staff, distribution teams, and helpdesk personnel, to ensure a seamless transition between the different phases of the project.
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with WFP standards and regulations, including PSEA (Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) and code of conduct policies.
- Report any major finding related to fraud or misconduct from the community members in the targeting committee directly to the CP targeting focal point, and follow up on actions needed.
- Follow “Do No Harm” principles and ensure neutrality, humanity, partiality and independence are promoted throughout the targeting process.

Qualifications
- The applicant must have a university degree in a related field.
- At least one year of professional experience in relevant work.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good analytical, communication, problem solving and teamwork skills.
- Excellent English skills (written and spoken) and computer skills.
- Male applicant should have finished their military service, exempted, or postponed for one year at least.
