Responsibilities
The Reporting Officer will work in close coordination with Programme, Partnership, Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL), Gender Equality, Finance, and Operations teams. He/she will ensure that all grant-related deliverables and commitments are met and in full compliance with the donor grant agreement, including quality reports, work plans, and other grant contract requirements; establish and maintain good day-to-day relationships with current and potential donors and partners, and support the fundraising efforts of AKF Syria by contributing to the development of concept notes and proposals, particularly for subsequent phases of existing WFP grant. The incumbent will report directly to the Grants Compliance and System Coordinator.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Record and maintain programme data, and draft periodic reports as per WFP’s templates, guidelines and requirements; while ensuring the accuracy of presented numerical and narrative inputs;
- Maintain high-level coordination with the Project Coordinator and other project staff.
- Keep track of reporting deadlines and ensure timely delivery;
- Identify and inform WFP of beneficiaries’ stories and assist in the preparation of communication material when needed;
- Coordinate with colleagues in responding to WFP’s ad-hoc inquiries on the partner’s operation as required;
- Communicate with WFP focal point to clarify inputs as needed;
- Inform both AKF and WFP of significant developments relevant to the context and WFP beneficiaries.
- Update staff and site lists regularly;
- Reports any updates that may affect the project implementation to both AKF and WFP.

Qualifications
- The applicant must have a university degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration or related field.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in relevant work.
- Technical training/ skills in reporting and data analysis.
- Strong collaboration, coordination, and communication skills.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Time management and multitasking skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English and proficiency in computer skills.
- Male applicant should have finished their military service, exempted, or postponed for one year at least.
