Responsibilities
1.Monitor all the distribution (activities, storage/distribution points, selection criteria, distribution criteria, etc.) on the ground as per guidance and SOPs provided by the Organization.
2.Support the distribution partners in organizing the storage points, and reporting on any excess stocks, damages, or short landings.
3.Support the partners and conduct NFI distributions and other activities upon request from the organization.
4.Upon request and guidance from the organization's focal point, attend meetings with local authorities and other stockholders and report back to the Organization.
5.Serve as an entry point for organization visits to new geographic locations and provide mission support.
6.Logistics coordination, arrangements, and follow-up/timely clearance at checkpoints with the authorities on the ground to facilitate smooth movement of CRIs or any other until destination.
7.Facilitate joint assessments, needs analysis, and identification of gaps by providing gathered information.
8.Act as a link between the organization's focal point and local authority to follow up on all facilitation letter requests through the government and report and provide feedback on arising issues.
9.In close consultation with the organization, facilitate coordination of service provision and other defined activities in camps, urban and rural settings in Northeast Syria.
10.Build good relationships with all actors present in last resort sites, urban and rural areas of Northeast Syria, and facilitate networking and information gathering mechanisms.
11.Prepare different types of reports as requested (services mapping, qualitative, weekly, monthly, graphic representation …, etc.)
12.Facilitators will prepare analytical reports on the information gathered in accordance with the established weekly work plans.
13.Conduct site visits to potential or actual activity locations as requested by the organization.
14.Collect feedback from the persons we serve on NFIs and other assistance/services provided as per adopted guidelines and SOPs.
15.Conduct field visits to the location of displacement and prepare a situation report upon the request from the organization.
16.Any other task assigned by the organization's focal person


Qualifications
1.University degree in a field related to the scope of work
2.Prior experience (at least three years) in coordinating, assisting, and conducting non-food items (NFI) distributions within a humanitarian context.
3.Familiarity with the local context of Northeast Syria and understanding of the cultural, social, and economic dynamics of the area.
4.Familiarity with the logistics and processes involved in NFI distributions, including inventory management, and distribution mechanisms.
5.Experience in conducting needs assessments, beneficiary targeting, and monitoring of NFI distributions.

Duration and Type of Assignment: 6 Months
