Responsibilities
Fleet Management:
Supervise all vehicle operations including maintenance, inspections, and licensing.
Ensure vehicles are in good condition and ready for operation.
Maintain records of maintenance, ensure periodic checks and preventative maintenance are carried out.
Manage the fleet budget and provide financial reports related to fleet operations.
Recruitment and Training:
Hire and train drivers and technicians, ensuring adherence to performance and conduct standards.
Organize regular training sessions for drivers focusing on safe driving and fuel efficiency.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure all vehicles comply with environmental and safety standards.
Monitor changing regulatory requirements and update policies and procedures accordingly.
Oversee the implementation of emergency and safety plans.
Continuous Improvement:
Evaluate fleet performance and develop strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Adopt new technologies that can improve operations and safety.
Liaise with vendors and suppliers for fleet updates and maintenance.

Degree in Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet management.
