Responsibilities
Supporting Medair distribution in Lattakia, Rural Lattakia, ٍand any other locations required by Medair for its intervention programme
Verification Tasks:
1. Attend ODK training prior to monitoring and evaluation.
2. Testing ODK form on the tablet prior to traveling to the field and reporting to the Direct Supervisor on any gaps or discrepancies if exist
3. Receiving a fully charged tablet and hard copy of the beneficiary list and ensuring that the received items are kept safe and properly returned to the Direct Supervisor at the end of each working day.
4. Traveling to the field of a daily basis as per locations identified by the Direct Supervisor in order to collect required beneficiary data (soft, hard or both)
5. Accurate use of ODK based surveys for HH visit documentation
6. Thoroughly examine HH documents
7. Properly issue HH coupons and make sure that they are consistent with the data collected.
8. Prepare all maps, reports and data spreadsheets required by Direct Supervisor
9. Attend all meetings requested by Direct Supervisor.
10. Report to the Direct Supervisor on any complaints made by beneficiaries during verification
11. Other tasks that may be assigned prior to distribution

Distribution Tasks:
1. Traveling to field locations on a daily basis as instructed by Direct Supervisor.
2. Coordinate with Medair field focal point to prepare a distribution plan.
3. Collect all issued HH coupons after the beneficiaries check their Kits and sign and date the HH coupons.
4. Prepare all distribution reports as requested by Direct Supervisor.
5. Matching collected HH coupons with distributed kits on daily basis and directly report to Direct Supervisor in case any discrepancies are spotted.
6. Attend all meeting requested by Direct Supervisor.
7. Report to Direct Supervisor on any complaints made by beneficiaries during distribution
8. Other tasks that may be requested during distribution.

Post Distribution Monitoring:
1. Attend ODK training prior to monitoring & Evaluation.
2. Successfully complete post-training test.
3. Testing ODK form on the tablet prior to traveling to the field and reporting to the Direct Supervisor on any gaps or discrepancy if exist.
4. Receiving a fully charged tablet and hard copy of beneficiary list and ensuring that the received items are kept safe and properly returned to Direct Supervisor at the end of each working day.

- Administration
1. Prepare different excel spreadsheets as needed.
2. Support in data entry while using paper forms.
3. Contribute to daily reporting on field activities.
4. Filtering and maintaining photo library of the activity upon request from AM/TL .
5. Any other BNA relevant task as required.

- Communication
1. Maintain open and frequent communication, where applicable, with the Area Manager and Field Team Leader and field management concerning all activities.
2. Ensure colleagues are informed of the required Activities and be available to answer any field related questions and to provide coaching and guidance as necessary.
3. Assist in producing accurate and timely internal reports as required by Area Manager and Damascus team.

- Quality Management
1. Adhere to all Medair internal controls by using and promoting the Medair e-library and other operating procedures, ensuring that all standardized formats are used and guidelines are followed.
2. Be aware of the potential for loss or fraud in activities and procedures. Pro-actively work to prevent such occurrences to improve transparency.
Additional Tasks:
3. Using ODK based form adopted by Medair when conducting M&Edata can be done (through phone calls or household visits or both).
4. Translate the data as requested
5. Provide recommendations based on beneficiaries and suggestions
6. Report to Direct Supervisor on any complaints made by beneficiaries
7. Provide lessons learnt to improve the work quality

Qualifications
Essential
1. Institute degree or still student
2. 1 year experience in Humanitarian Work
3. Good English (oral & written).
4. Native Arabic speaker.
5. Fluency in Microsoft Office Programmes, in particular Word, Excel, Outlook.

-Desirable
6. University degree
7. Experience in Field activities
8. Able to use a smartphone & Tablets


Specific Vacancy Requirements
Successful application will lead to position in the talent pool. Applicant in the talent pool will be contacted for short term Contracts based on required capacity for project activities.

This position is based in Lattakia, Rural Lattakia, ٍand any other locations required by Medair for its intervention programme with frequent field visits (subject to staff safety procedures and movement approvals)

Salary and Benefits
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Medair Salary Scale for Short Term / Project Based Staff
