Responsibilities
Activities’ (planning, implementation) and Staff management:
Plan, implement and monitor the Preparation activities 'progress: recruitment of project staff in consultation with the chairman of the board, trainings, and orientation meetings.
Evaluate the staff employed for projects and participate to the evaluation of the staff performance.
Activity implementation and response management:
Plan, implement and monitor the Identification, registration and verification activities:
Monitoring activities for cash-based modality and case management implementation and conduct on-site monitoring visits.
Administrative and financial management: Plan all expenditures and requests in timely manner. Regularly monitor and report all expenditures on the project’s budget. Supervise accounting activities and staff.
Reporting: Ensure the preparation and completion, in compliance with the deadlines, of all programmed, financial, and narrative reports – interim and final –4Ws, progress reports, ad-hoc reports, provide inputs to Donor Reports as well as chairman of the board on the component of the programme (case management and cash)
Institutional relations: Communicate with donors, local stakeholders and project’s partners, represent the programme in all relevant clusters, sectors and CWG, contributing to the mapping tools and referral platforms.


Qualifications
An advanced university degree in one of the following fields is required: Economics, Public Finance, Development Studies, Public Policy or another relevant social science field.
A minimum of five years of professional work experience in humanitarian program management, preferred in social protection, livelihoods and cash-based programs.
Experience in programme management and program monitoring is required.
Background and/or familiarity with case management for child protection is considered as a strong asset.
Excellent knowledge in MS. Office and advanced certificate in excel is mandatory.
Fluent in written English.
Institutional relations management and cultural context understanding with good analytical and practical problem-solving skills, strong supervisory abilities, and demonstrated capacity of teamwork and of coordination with the relevant actors.


Specific Vacancy Requirements
The Project Manager will have the overall responsibility for the successful implementation of social protection programs in technical, financial and human resources management, and internal/external reporting in compliance with donors’ procedures and forms. Also, the responsibilities include ensure the expected results attainment in budget management, program documents and the delivery of the project objectives on-time, and quality manner.
