Responsibilities
-Develop the plan of social and recreational activities for adults based on the identified needs of the community in the catchment area, aiming at improving connectedness and empowering the social and familial networks
-Assist In the identification of POCs with psychological problems and refer them to the MHPSS case manager
-Develop a plan for small group activities in coordination with the MHPSS case manager and organize and facilitate these activities
-plan and implement the awareness raising sessions of MHPSS in the community center
-Prepare and distribute awareness materials, when relevant.
-Prepare , conduct and support psycho-education activities for POCs; groups , individuals and their family members .
-Cooperate with the rehabilitation focal point to ensure successful conduction of activities for the children with mental disability, and their inclusion in the CFS and other social/recreational events
-Adhere to the core principles of MHPSS interventions as per the IASC, with regard to planning for the activities and adherence to the "Do no harm" humanitarian principle in interventions
-Assist in mainstreaming PSS in the activities of the center through continuous capacity building of the staff in MHPSS and monitoring the compliance with protection principles
-Assist in developing and maintaining a system of self-care for the staff and ORVs.
-Provide any needed support CP activity facilitator to conduct soft PSS activities (ex:CFS),in order to identify cases who need to be referred to PSS case manager
-reports on the activities performed as required
- Participate in relevant training and attend meetings as required.
-Perform any other related duties as required


Qualifications
-BA in psychology or a related discipline.
-Solid experience in the psych-social counseling field.
-Previous experience with adolescents, or refugees, or IDPs.
-Previous experience with NGOs or UN Agencies is preferred.
-Professional level in using Arabic, good level in using English
-Basic Level in using MS. Office (Word, Excel, Emails,Internet Explorer)
