Responsibilities
- Develop hygiene promotion priorities and strategy within AAH,
- Develop the approach and the education material adapted to the Syrian context with partners.
- Train and guide our implementing partners and their relevant staff .
- Plan and participate in technical assessments at field level to identify the needs in terms of hygiene practices and elaborate an operational plan based on health and hygiene promotion activities.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with including partners ( MoWR’s staff, SARC, INGOs and UN agencies) to enhance cooperation and coordination in the hygiene promotion sector.
-Ensure AAH priorities in terms of hygiene promotion are aligned with MoWR and SARC priorities.
Design, plan and supervise Public Health and Hygiene Promotion related activities.
-Supervise and participate (if needed) in the implementation of hygiene promotion activities at field level together with our implementing partners.
-Ensure the quality of the hygiene promotion activities and the improvement of the strategy and the approach based on the experience from the field.

Qualifications
-University degree in a relevant field Education, International Cooperation or Public Health.
-Advanced M&E tools and methodologies.
-Experience in planning and implementing hygiene promotion or public health activities for at least 3 years.
-Previous experience in the humanitarian field (at least 1 year).


Specific Vacancy Requirements
-Good reporting skills.
-Good command of Arabic and English.
-Good Organization and Planning skills.

Salary and Benefits
