Responsibilities
1. Build received source code and deploy it on production environment.
2. Review acceptance test results that are reported by MIS Testing Section, highlight the accepted defects and keep it as a reference into applications configuration database for potential failure or incident.
3. Manage production environment of application systems through installation, configuration, upgrades, patch updates and cloning.
4. Provide technical feedback by analyzing the potential impact of any change request and take the necessary measures that ensure rolling back application change.
5. Monitor assigned applications management lifecycle.
6. Monitor applications services, logs and performance and ensure setting the necessary monitors to identify application abnormal behavior.
7. Report and follow up bugs and approved change requests to concerned business units or providers.
8. Handle business request through customization, configuration, integration and reporting.
9. Identify, analyze, fix or recommend appropriate solution for emerging applications issues.
10. Review, categorize, initially diagnose, resolve or reassign and follow up incidents reported by users and as per the service catalog of Applications Management Section.
11. Log application’s process problem resolution to the knowledge database.
12. Report unresolved incidents/service requests to concerned parties.
13. Participate in developing disaster recovery plans in coordination with Business Continuity and Risk Management Section to maintain service availability of assigned applications.
14. Maintain applications configuration database upon adding new application, issuing new release, applying change request on an existing application.
15. Govern and securely maintain the approved release of assigned application related files.
16. Check Section & Individual objectives on regular basis and effectively participate in achieving them to ensure successful contribution to company's goals and corporate objectives.
17. Participate in conducting the OJT for new team members and promote a culture of knowledge transfer, cooperation and team work.
18. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Syriatel Quality Management System.


Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering / IT Engineering (Software/ Information Systems) is required.
2. Experience: 1 Year of applications operation experience is a plus.
3. Professional Certification: ITIL Foundation/ MCITP/ASL/ DevOps Master are a plus.
