Responsibilities
Follow up the analyses of the security, socioeconomic, cultural and political environment relevant to the ICRC, share relevant information with team members.
Contribute to the implementation and running of specific projects / programmes in the assigned area and participate in planning, implementing and monitoring the awareness of Risk Education programs in Syria regarding the explosive remainders.
Liaise closely with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) branches, relevant NGOs and organizations involved in risk education activities.
Work with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) and local actors to promote the ICRC, its activities and humanitarian issues.
Contribute to the ICRC daily monitoring of local and social media.
Translate from Arabic to English and vice versa.


Qualifications
University degree.
2–3 year work experience in a similar field.
Very good knowledge of written and spoken English.
Very good computer skills.
Good geographical knowledge of Damascus and Southern Syria.
Good analytical skills.
