Responsibilities

1. Make sure to get a suitable delivery period which meets Aura’s schedule.
2. Ensure that all received vendor invoices complies with contracts and goods and services are well received
3. Coordinate warehousing/ dispatching of the procured items
4. Ensure proper fleet management transactions are carried out accordance to Aura procedure and control
5. Supervise, monitor and provide coaching to the procurement team
6. Make sure to get a suitable delivery period which meets the units implementation schedule
7. Liaises with head of departments to determine their product and service needs
8. Monitors business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times
9. Nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for the company
10. Identifies and researches potential new suppliers
11. Researches new products and services to meet company's goals
12. Assesses total costs of company purchases
13. Develops and implements strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels
14. Develop strategic purchasing plan and standard operation procedures for the procurement unit
15. Perform any other related duties as may be assigned.

People Person, Good at Networking, Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills, Data Analysis, Superior Organizational Skills, Good Business Instincts, Mathematics Skills, Good Negotiator, Financial Analysis Skills, Understanding of Supply Chain Management Procedures, Logistics Skills, Strategic Planning Abilities, Knowledge of Supply Management Software (Database Management, Inventory Management, Financial Analysis, Point of Sale, Procurement, Project Management, and Enterprise Resource Planning, and General Office Programs), Specialised Industry Knowledge, Experience as a Procurement Clerk or Junior Buyer, Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Applied Science, or a Related Field, Especially Those Accredited by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
