Responsibilities
Under minimal supervision, perform the following highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain the power plant equipment according to manufacturer, safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems:
1. Perform highly diversified duties to operate and maintain the power plant facility’s equipment.
2. Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of plant equipment and performs scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
3. Perform maintenance skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of plant machines.
4. Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders to perform required operating, and maintenance services.
5. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test/ measure and make calibrations.
6. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
7. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
8. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
9. Comply with safety regulations and maintain plant housekeeping and orderly work areas.
10. Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
11. Track and maintain electronic/ hard records on all maintenance and repairs to machines and facility.
12. Control equipment spare parts: request the correct parts and equipment’s as the manufacturer specification/ receive and evaluate/ store/ spend.
13. Set working hours for the maintenance plan and obtain approval through production needs.
14. Direct and delegate workload to maintenance personnel.
15. Ensure all procedures, documentation and forms is manufacturer compliant.
16. Train and supervise subordinates in the both theory and practical maintenance of the power plant and related systems.

Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with diesel engine operating and mechanical maintenance is required.
• Experience with marine engines operating and mechanical maintenance is preferred.
• Have related experience and /or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Perform machinery skills.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, etc.
• Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.
