Responsibilities
1. Perform daily and weekly backup as per backup procedure, and ensure that backup logs are accurate and updated.
2. Monitor system's performance and availability and analyze history reports through network management systems, and immediately respond to any alarm.
3. Assure that virus definitions and email security solutions are updated on all systems on a daily basis, and response immediately to outbreak alarms.
4. Deploy system patches and security updates based on Lab testing and compatibility verification.
5. Provide third level support to users as per Help desk escalation procedures.
6. Document systems configuration and maintain logs for maintenance action.
7. Test and evaluate new products as per requested from systems engineering Manager
8. Perform regular file archival and purge unneeded files as necessary after owners confirmations.
9. Create / Modify and delete accounts on the network according to the procedures and policies
10. Provide network and internet access permissions and external email to users after obtaining required approvals.
11. Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies.
12. Research for solution and new technology to improve system administration tasks performance and response.
13. Troubleshoot, and resolve or correct systems problems in coordinating with systems engineering Manager.
14. Install, configure and implement new systems according to plans and procedures.
15. Manages the datacenters and computer hosted systems including hardware, software and equipments. And maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment
16. Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
17. Monitor system security and take appropriate steps to resolve security breaches and prevent future attacks, and check logs for any malicious or suspicious activity.

Qualifications
Three years or more experience in system installation, and support environment.
Diploma in Computer Science or Information Systems.
MCSE, MCSA or MCITP.
