Trainer of Trainers Specialist will technically support AVSI Syria for delivering ToT on the content of teaching materials (curricula) elaborated on finance practices (business plan, marketing, sale techniques) for vulnerable people working in agriculture.
The specific objectives for this work will be to train on:
- The developed training materials (curricula) on finance practices for vulnerable people working in agriculture;
- The facilitation skills for transferring the contents of the courses to vulnerable people working in agriculture;
The Trainer of Trainers Specialist has also to develop the lessons plans, content and evaluation tools, combining technical skills within the topic of finance practices.
Deliverables
- 5 days of Training, including one day of evaluation of the activity implementation.
- Consultancy report (in English) including:
The methodology adopted
The final outcomes in addition to the faced challenges
All training materials should be submitted in soft and hard copy to AVSI, and all should be provided in Arabic language. Only the consultancy report should be submitted in English.

- Experience working with NGOs with programs destined to vulnerable and out of school youth (desirable in vocational training in agriculture activities)
- Experience in collaborating with governmental institutions
- Experience in experiential learning approaches
- Experience in giving training of trainers
• Technical proposal:
- Experience in training trainers on finance curriculum, including teaching methodology, learning objectives, content and activities and evaluation tools

Duration of the consultancy
The revised materials should be delivered 15 days after contract signature. As for the trainings session it will be defined later as per the timeframe of the activities. The consultancy report should be delivered by the end of March.
