Responsible for the implementation and well-functioning of the demand-planning process for the delegation and its associated sub-delegations.
Responsible for the delegation’s consolidated demand figures and monitor buffer stock levels.
Oversee the work of the supply planning team and ensure stock replenishment is managed in a timely manner and as per agreed supply plan.
Elaborate and implement a stock-management policy for the country, aligning it with the work of the Regional Supply Chain Planner.
Contributes to defining the delegation’s supply network.
Perform analyses of supply/demand data and make appropriate recommendations to improve forecasting accuracy, provide timely supply and contribute to continuous improvement of supply chain processes.

Bachelor Degree.
6 years of professional experience in logistics or Supply Chain Management.
Knowledge of enterprise resource planning software is an asset.
Experience in planning and forecasting.
Good command of spoken and written English.
Experience in managing a team.
Computer proficiency

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral and independent humanitarian organization, which has been permanently present in Syria since 1967. The ICRC works closely and supports the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) organization to provide food, water, healthcare and other forms of relief assistance to people affected by the fighting. The ICRC also visits people detained and helps them to stay in contact with their families. This service is also provided to families separated as a result of the fighting.
