Responsibilities
1. Identify and receive children of concern from social workers, outreach volunteers or/and other frontline workers/service providers.
2. Conduct an assessment to identify CP needs, risks (through individual counselling) as well as age and gender appropriate services.
3. Develop an action/care plan jointly with the child and the primary network. Coordinate with other focal points and service providers in the community center to ensure multi-sectorial and comprehensive plans (remedial classes, VT.etc.)
4. Refer cases to specific services (internal and external) to meet their needs according to the jointly developed care plan.
5. Follow up on the referrals to other services outside the community center through direct contact with service providers and/or through the children’s primary network (if appropriate for the context).
6. Conduct mapping of services, in cooperation with the CP ORVs in the catchment area to ensure efficient referrals and update the map periodically. 7. Follow up on the implementation of the care plan until the cases are closed. 8. Evaluate the outcomes of the care plan and amend it accordingly.
9. Update the case management database complying with the standards of information management. Ensure updated documentation of the cases using appropriate forms (soft/hard) as per the SOPs.
10. Ensure strict and appropriate confidentiality and privacy of the child including record keeping.
11. Assist in the design and development of awareness materials in coordination with other CP staff. Conduct awareness activities on various CP risks as per the needs.
12. Coordinate with CP ORVs to follow up on children cases and in particular when home visits are needed (only when home visits are not putting the safety of the child at risk )
13. Conduct regular meetings with the members of the "Child Welfare Committee" and the "Children Clubs" to identify children at risk cases and support in the provision of the required services.
14. Coordinate closely and assist the SGBV case manager in cases of children survivors during all the steps of the case management cycle (identification, development of care plan, follow up and closure of case)15. Alert and report to the CP coordinator at the central level whenever there are complex cases which cannot addressed in an effective manner
16. Participate in relevant trainings and attend meetings as required.
17. Perform any other related duties as required.

Qualifications
-University degree in social work, sociology, psychology, counseling, guidance or any other related degree in social development or emergency/ crisis response and /or humanitarian relief aid
-Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience
-Excellent English and Arabic language skills both written and spoken
-Substantial experience working with International NGOs, UN agencies
-Demonstrated skills in assessment, counselling and casework
