Responsibilities
* Assists the specialist doctor in providing laboratory services at the clinic for all the cases requiring diagnostic intervention.
* Receive and process samples to identify suitability
*Prepare samples for testing using various types of laboratory equipment
* Perform laboratory testing, including pH and bacterial culturing
* Prepare and maintain accurate laboratory records
* Label specimens accurately and distribute them appropriately.
* Perform quality control as directed by the Laboratory doctor.
* Clean and maintain work area and all lab equipment and supplies
* Maintain, submit and update all laboratory reports to the lab specialist doctor and to the pharmacist in the clinic on daily basis including daily expense of the laboratory.
* Build, strengthen and share lessons learned regarding best practices to be followed in the clinic.
* Other related assignments

Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in laboratory.
- Minimum of one - three years of experience as a working lab technician assistant.
- Minimum of one - three years of experience as a working lab technician assistant.
Specific Vacancy Requirements
- Must know to use Daily expense registers and Stock registers to maintain the laboratory record.
- Knowledge to work on a computer with programs like MS word and Excel.
** Able to travel for training purposes.
